Idea Group were delighted to attend Calastone’s inaugural User Group meeting in the City of London on 26th February.
The event was hosted by Calastone’s Philip Goffin and Dan Llewellyn, who provided a summary of the company’s dominant position as the global transaction network for the funds industry.
Calastone listed some very impressive statistics not only on the volume of messages being handled but also reflecting the incredible growth story for their operations. Such is the nature of their business, operations are being expanded into more territories with huge growth in Australasia and growing influence across Europe and South America.
The team presented an overview of recent developments as well as a high level view of the roadmap of upcoming initiatives and product releases.
Idea Group Managing Director Ian Lyall said of the event, “It was great to see such a large turnout from Calastone’s client community. It is impressive that since its founding in 2007 Calastone has grown to have over 400 financial service companies as clients.
At a personal level, I was really delighted that Phil and Dan repeatedly emphasised how important the partnership between Calastone and Idea Group is.
Phil was very complimentary about the work we are doing as Salesforce implementation partners to help Calastone improve their client relationships and servicing. In addition to this, both Phil and Dan highlighted how our analysts, designers and developers are “collaborating to create great solutions for the market.”
The intention is to hold these User Group sessions quarterly with the potential for sub-groups to meet on specific topics of interest. Idea Group is looking forward to participating in many of these future events...
