New features in Salesforce.com Spring ‘13
Idea Group continues to help firms to improve their client service proposition and to introduce process efficiencies. We have long recognised the benefits of Cloud computing and the provision of Mobile access to systems and data.
Many of our clients are choosing Salesforce.com as an enterprise platform to support CRM activities and to underpin service and online capabilities and it has been great to be involved exciting Salesforce implementation and development projects.
This month Salesforce will roll out the latest version of their platform, Spring ‘13 and we’re enthusiastic about a number of the new features being introduced.
Idea Group Managing Director, Ian Lyall, said, “We are greatly intrigued by the potential for organisations to embrace the benefits of social networking, both as an aid to client service but also to power greater communication and collaboration internally.
Everyone in Idea Group actively participates on our internal social network and we have taken advantage of capabilities to open private groups with our clients, prospects and partners using Salesforce Chatter. There is no question this has improved information sharing and problem solving within our firm.
I’m delighted to see that in Spring ‘13, Salesforce continue to develop Chatter and we will certainly benefit from the new task allocation features being introduced.”
Salesforce Administrator and Developer, Monica Young added that data quality will improve using Spring ‘13 too. She said,”Data take on is a big part of any Salesforce implementation and of course keeping client data up to date requires discipline and process. Spring ‘13’s new standardised address features will help both these challenges.”
